While characters in my first two mysteries have had idiosyncrasies and eccentricities, Murphy Murphy (the detective at the heart of my new book) is more defined by them than the others.
Murphy Murphy has an aversion for redundant phrases. His boss is aware of this, so he uses all these annoying phrases he can think of around Murphy every chance he gets. The captain has even given Murphy his own department: Department of Redundancy Department. And what a fitting department that is for for someone who seeks to rid the world of these hilarious commonly used phrases.

Myths are fictitious stories, but they have a lot of power. Lightning never strikes the same place twice is one myth that Iβm sure youβre familiar with, and it is a dangerous one. Lightning could strike the same place in less than ten minutes, or it could wait thousands of years to strike that place again.
All of the stories in πβπ π΅ππππππ‘π ππ π΅ππππ‘βπππ are about love. Some are afraid to love. Others love yet stay apart.Some only pretend to love, yet in many cases, love continues even after death. Not everyone is honest when it comes to love; some set out only to deceive. And never forget that the love of a dog, manβs best friend, is so very special.
Each of the eleven stories are important to me. They represent different concerns, even obsessions, in my lifeβmostly from the last three years.
