
𝑈𝑛𝑑𝑜𝑛𝑒 is a different kind of zombie book, one that will without a doubt grab your attention. I thought it was a bit slow at first, but my opinion soon changed once I understood what was happening. Then the book became impossible to put down.
Lumina City is full of werewolves, vampires, and demons. Corruption and evil fill this city. It is the Vanguard’s job to protect the world from demonic forces. But the Vanguard in Lumina City are corrupt. Instead of helping the citizens in their fight against their foe, they are using their powerful positions and elite combat skills to become rich.
Something strange is going on in the small town of St. Mary’s. Their children are disappearing, and the FBI are called in to investigate. The investigating agent discovers something way more sinister than kidnapped children. Human trafficking? The slave trade? Yes, children being kidnapped is bad, but that is only the tip of the iceberg of what is happening in St. Mary’s.
David Vorhees has a great imagination for horror. All of these tales of horror are linked to one of the following holidays: New Year’s Day, Valentine’s Day, Easter, Fourth of July, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. Once you read them, you might never think of these holidays the same way. They will root themselves in your mind so deeply, especially “Thanksgiving,” that you’ll never forget them.
