What little girl doesn’t like bows? Cleo doesn’t just like bows, she loves them. She wears bows in her hair, around her waist, and on her shoes. The bed, walls, and curtains in her bedroom are decorated with bows.
Cleo wasn’t born knowing how to tie a bow, so how did she learn? The rabbit and the fox taught her.
Within the delightful story of Cleo, there is another story, the story of a friendly fox and a bunny whose ears dragged the ground and stayed dirty. This friendly fox teaches the bunny how to tie his ears into a bow and keep them off the ground, and the directions the fox gives the bunny are the ones Cleo follows to tie her beautiful bows. Tucked inside this story are directions for those who want to learn to tie a bow.
This story is great for those who are ready to learn how to tie a bow. It’s also great for those who are just learning how to read. My granddaughter Zoey absolutely loves reading this book to her little sister Ren.
The book is filled with bright and colorful illustrations done by Pumudi Gardiyawasan. Some of these, along with the directions, clearly show one how to make a pretty bow with a ribbon.
I was sent this book in exchange for an honest review. If your little one needs help learning to tie bows, they would really enjoy this book. If your little one is just learning to read, they would love this book. If you would like to purchase “Cleo Can Tie A Bow,” I’ve provided an Amazon link below.
