Hi there! My name is Daniel Greene. I’m glad you stopped by. My goal for writing articles on this site is to share my knowledge on all manner of writing and content while having a ton of fun as we go along. I hope you learn something from my posts and find them useful. If not, hopefully it’s at least a good time.
A Little About Me:
I’ve lived in a few places across the country: Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Virginia for the longest. I’ve also spent a good deal of time in Iowa, although I haven’t had the opportunity to live there. You may see these fantastic places pop up in my writing; I try to write them true to real life. I’ve had the privilege to travel all around the world. My favorite places are Ireland and Germany, and I’m particularly partial to German food. Sit me down in front of a platter of pork, dumplings, and cabbage with a liter of beer and I’ll be happy for about 3.5 minutes until it’s gone. As for Ireland, there’s just something magical about it. The rolling green hills and small towns with their nightly music are always a wonder to behold.
If you don’t see me at a show, you’ll probably find me at the gym. I’m a big physical fitness enthusiast. I like to lift weights, run, and hike. I won’t object to a bike ride or two or a swim, but I’ll warn you right now, I sink. I can swim but it’s ugly, which doesn’t exactly follow as I swam a lot as a kid.
About My Writing:
I started writing in 2014 on an iPad. That’s correct, on an iPad. I wrote most of my first novel using the onscreen keyboard and my pointer fingers. It was just as slow as you think it would be. I graduated to a portable keyboard and eventually to a laptop. Now, I write at a desk I call the “Battle Station” or the “WOC” (Writing Operations Center).
I published my first book, a multiple point-of-view zombie apocalypse thriller End Time in 2016 and fell in love with writing and publishing. I felt like I still had a story to tell and turned it into The End Time Saga. It is scheduled to be a six-book series.
My writing has (thankfully) gotten quicker over time and I’m publishing two books a year but should be driving upward as my goal is to finish numbers five and six in the next year. This can be difficult when you are putting out over 400-page novels, but I love it! It’s what I do for fun, so it doesn’t seem like work.
My current works fall into the apocalypse or post-apocalypse genre, but you will find many elements of horror, military/medical thrillers, and science fiction in my novels. I’m looking forward to writing some historical fiction in the future and can’t wait to share my stories, tips

How to Survive the Zombie Apocalypse – Guest Post by Daniel Greene – My name is Daniel Greene, and I am the author of End Time, a zombie apocalypse thriller. End Time is a multiple-point-of-view novel primarily following elite counterterrorism agent, Mark Steele, and CDC virologist, Dr. Joseph Jackowski as a zombie virus with a wicked bite is unleashed across the globe.
Daniel Greene – Organizing Multiple Point-of-View Novels – Ever wonder how we keep all these characters and voices separate in our author heads? Sure one, two, hell even three isn’t so bad, but what about when you start having novels with three- or four-hundred individual characters in them?

Daniel Greene Interview – The Rising – Why did Daniel Greene want to write a series about zombies? Which scene in The Rising is his favorite? Which character? Are zombies the only danger the survivors have to watch out for? How hard is it for him to kill his characters? How has writing this series changed his life?
