Murder at the Chocolatier – a Review

How far would you go to prove your friends innocent of murder? Murder just doesn’t happen in the quaint town of Los Robles.

This small town is lucky to have a talented chocolatier. David, the chocolatier, is not a very friendly person, but he makes delicious chocolates. And pet-safe chocolates are one of his specialties, but these have been accused of poisoning the neighborhood dogs. Did they? Are they the reason for the sick dogs? Could this be why he was murdered?

Avery Parker is an innkeeper and vineyard owner as well as an amateur detective. When two of her friends are accused of murdering the unfriendly chocolatier, Avery, along with her devoted golden retriever, Sprinkles, is determined to prove their innocence.

When secrets begin unraveling, will Avery manage to escape the clutches of the killer?

I will say that I didn’t figure out who the killer was until toward the end of the book where it was made rather obvious. I think you too will be surprised at the identity of the murderer. Murder at the Chocolatier is a very enjoyable book with a clean romance that makes the story even sweeter. It is so nice to read about a romance where honesty is important and the two aren’t ripping each other’s clothes off.

I received a free copy of this book and am leaving this review voluntarily. If you would like to purchase your own copy of this culinary cozy mystery, there is an Amazon link for you below.
