Before you request that I review your book, please read through several of my book reviews to see how they are written. What kind of books will I review? I love reading, and I will review books of almost any genre. Erotica and gay/lesbian are the two genres that I will not review.
I do ask that you make sure your book has been proofread for mistakes before you ask me to review it. A mistake here and there won’t be mentioned. We are all human, and we all make mistakes. But if mistakes are on every page and take away from my enjoyment of your book, they will at least get a mention in my review.
There is no way that I could afford to buy all of the books I review, so you will need to send me a copy of your book, either paperback or Kindle. The fact that I am basically given a copy of the book in no way affects my review. If your book is bad (I’ve not read many of those), I’ll let you know. If it is good, your book will receive a good review.
How long will it take me to review your book? That all depends on what else I have going on at the moment. I am an editor and a writer. I also have a family to take care of, but reading is my passion. Please rest assured that I will get to your book as soon as it is humanly possible.
