July 2026 Writing Prompts

The Fourth of July may be a time for celebration, but our pets and wildlife often feel very differently about the booming fireworks. And as if loud explosions weren’t enough to worry about, summer brings its own parade of problemsβ€”like lice, which are awful enough on their own and even worse when they turn into a full-blown infestation. Then come the ants. Or in my case, an outright invasion of ants. What can you do when these tiny troublemakers take over? To wrap things up, the last week of July is packed with holidaysβ€”some meaningful, some unusual, and all worth a closer look.

February 2026 Writing Prompts

I’m snowed in (and cut off from civilization) while writing this. Thank you. Winter Storm Fern. What a name for a storm in the winter. Still, I will be changing my sheets today.

Mr. Muffins Goes to Paris – a Review

Cats are lovable, playful companions, and they each have their own personality. Cats all have a few things in common though: they are incredibly sneaky, and they like to go places. If given the opportunity, they would all be globe-trotters. Mr. Muffins is a perfect example of this.
