Yellow River Pledge – a Review

Dr. Jordan Chamberlain seems to have it all—the perfect life, husband, friends, and career A young and successful medical examiner, she is chasing a serial killer while still working other cases. From the clues she gathers from the corpses, it seems clear that the killer is a guy.

Jordan’s husband announces to her one day that he no longer wants to be married. Of course, this puts her in shock. She hadn’t seen any signs that their marriage was in trouble.

Back to the clues. Even before Jordan’s husband left her, I suspected any man that she met or any man who was in her life in any way of being this serial killer. No, it obviously wasn’t all of them, but the author did a great job of making this reader suspect lots of different people.

This book has it all: love, drama, murder, suspense. A fan of any of those genres will love this book. The suspense about the serial killer and about what is going on in her love life continuously builds from page to page and that makes it extremely difficult to put the book down for any length of time. From the first page until the last, there wasn’t a single time that I became bored with this book.
