Boulder Girl – a Review

Lana has just gone through a divorce from her cold uncaring husband and has no uneasiness about staying in the huge house that her ex let her keep. Just for safety, she still has the locks changed. She has no clue of the excitement, the love, and the terror coming her way.

She also has a security system put in. The guy, Leon, who comes to install this new security system, had a pretty major crush on her in school. This crush hasn’t gone away. Once he sees her again, it turns into an obsession.

It’s never a secret that Leon is obsessed with her and will do anything to ensure he is the one who has Lana, but Lana doesn’t suspect a thing. Her uneasiness that something is wrong, a feeling that she is being watched, adds suspense early on in the story. This suspense is palpable to the reader, especially since you know who is doing the watching and how.

Creepy Leon believes that Lana is his. He is convinced that what he feels for Lana is love, but he refuses to let her live her own life because in his eyes, she must be with him and no other man. Jealousy and rage eat away at him, and these feelings only grow more intense as time passes. What will he do if Lana refuses to spend her life with him?

Strange things begin to happen in Lana’s house. A picture in a silver frame keeps ending up on her bed, but she isn’t the one putting it there. She finds a snake in her living room. There’s loud knocking on her front door at around 12:30 in the morning.

Her relationship with Roadking, a guy she met while doing research for an article, slowly becomes serious. He is nothing like her ex-husband, and she falls head over heel in love with him. The weird things happening in her house now escalates to cars being damaged and finally to murder.

No one except Leon knows why these things are happening. Lana has no idea the danger she is in. Until I’m able to read the sequel of this unputdownable book, I will keep wondering what is going to happen when the story continues.

I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. If you would like to purchase this awesome book for yourself or someone else you know, I’ve provided an Amazon link for you below.
