
Entrepreneurship has always been my passion, and after having my miracle baby boy, Ferris, I realized there was no better time than the present to follow this dream.
I have almost as much trouble naming the characters in my novels as I did naming my children. But writing Southern novels makes it a little easier since there are so many colorful names from which to choose. And colorful name equals memorable. It’s a pretty safe bet if someone has a unique name, they’re going to be . . . well, a character.
I’ve been lucky enough to have written several series—four, in fact—and each one was a fun experience. However, I’m certain whenever someone opens one of my books, he doesn’t think of the effort going into creating either the story or the world in which that story is set. Nevertheless, anyone who’s ever written anything will tell you it ain’t easy.
I write horror stories. I’ve written book series about Count Dracula, the monster of Frankenstein, the ghouls Hugo and Edgar, and I have plans for quite a few more tales of the macabre.
