Malice in Miami – an Audiobook Review

Jamie Quinn, the family attorney that always runs into mysteries, is no longer going to be practicing law. She has landed her dream job at an art foundation, but this dream job will require up to six months of learning and a new wardrobe of evening gowns. But her new art career is in danger of being over just as it begins when she is arrested for stealing valuable artwork that she didn’t take. Little does she know that the stolen artwork will have her involved with the FBI, the Russians, and art thieves. Jamie just can’t stay out of trouble.

And her law career doesn’t want to let go of her. People keep begging for her help, and with her soft heart, Jamie Quinn ends up taking on just one more case. Only one problem: she must figure out how to serve a warrant to a deadbeat dad who just happens to be wealthy. The warrant being successfully served puts her friendship with Grace on the line.

Thanks to her boyfriend Kip, Jamie becomes a python-hunting swamp beast! Pythons have invaded the Everglades, and they need to go. Jamie and a team of men are hunting them down to help rid Florida of them.

I learned something about pythons: their meat is full of mercury, so it’s not a good idea to eat them. While out in the Everglades, Kip accidentally stumbles upon a site where toxic chemicals are being dumped.

What about Duke? After he brings Jamie and Grace a lot of unwanted public attention, he goes AWOL. What is going on with him?

If you happen to be a homeschooler, Jamie talks about a couple of websites that could help with learning about art. When I homeschooled my children, the following sites would have been a tremendous help.
