Mind’s Eye – a Review

Mind’s Eye is an intense science fiction/technothriller that you will keep you on the edge of your seat.  Or maybe you will wear ruts in the floor from pacing while reading.  Will the technological advances in this book really happen one day?  And if they do, will there be an evil mastermind behind them?

Mind's Eye 2Nick Hall has a problem.  He wakes up and discovers that he is in a garbage-filled dumpster with no memory of how he got there.  To make things even worse, he can’t remember who he is.  Things brighten up just a bit though when he discovers that he has ESP and can surf the internet with his thoughts.

So why are people trying to kill him?  As he is running for his life and trying to figure out just who he really is, he also has to decide who is trustworthy.  He meets those who are good, as well as some that are not so good.  But there are those on each side who want him dead.

He makes some astounding discoveries about who he is and how he ended up in the situation he is in.  But the things that the mastermind behind these events has planned is even more astounding and has the potential to be catastrophic not only for Nick, but also for the rest of the free world.

This is truly an awesome book, but it is difficult to find the right words for this review.  There is so much that I want to tell you about the story, but I don’t want to take away the pleasure you would have discovering it all for yourself.

What happens in this book is something that I could see actually happening one day with the technological advances that are constantly being made.  Knowing that turns this thriller into a story that is truly terrifying.

The action never stops.  Amidst the intrigue and suspense, there is a romance that becomes an integral part of the story.

I always look forward to reading books by this author.  He is an awesome writer who writes books that really make you think.  Written intelligently and packed with action, his books are hard to put down.  I think maybe they should come with a warning label on the front:  Prepare to do nothing but read until you reach the final page.

I was sent a copy of this book by the author in exchange for an honest review.  If you would like to purchase a copy of this book for your own reading pleasure, I have provided an Amazon link below.
