Princess Adele’s Dragon – a Review

Princess Adele’s Dragon, a thrilling fantasy book for young readers, takes place during medieval times. The kingdom of Valdoria has been under threat from a fearsome dragon for the past six years. Princess Adele is understandably upset when her brother, King Robert, sees no other way to appease the dragon than to sacrifice a child. Risking death and not wanting an innocent child to needlessly lose his life, she sets out to save her kingdom from this terrifying creature.

Coincidentally, her fiancé, Prince Anthony, went missing six years ago. Once she sees the dragon, something tells her not to kill it. Then she discovers, much to her surprise, that this beast is really Prince Anthony The hag, a wicked witch, turned him into this fierce fire-breathing creature six years ago.

A sinister plot to over throw the kingdom begins to unravel now. Two of the people involved are really close to Adele and her brother. One of them even lives in the palace. To set things right again, Princess Adele and Anthony now need the help of the hag, the one who turned Anthony into the dragon all those years ago. Can she be trusted to help them?

This book is filled with betrayal, sorcery, deception, a dragon, and romance. I enjoyed reading this fantasy that wasn’t filled with a lot of unnecessary description; instead, the focus was on the characters and how the events were affecting them. Toward the end, this book became so exciting that it was unputdownable.

If you like fairy-tale type books, fantasy books, or books with dragons, you would enjoy reading Princess Adele’s Dragon.
