Writing Prompt:
For a writing prompt, you can write stories about how each of these towns was given a winter/Christmas name.

Example:
For the towns named Santa Claus (or some variation of his name), did Santa’s sleigh break down when he stopped there? Many towns are also named after his reindeer. Did he and his reindeer stay and visit with all the residents while his sleigh was being repaired? Did his reindeer make friends with the local animals?
