I wanted to read this book just because of the title: ๐โ๐๐ ๐ผ ๐พ๐๐๐ ๐๐๐ข. The title is brilliant. It tells you in just four words what the book is about. So is the main character Nell Masters, or is it the killer?

Who is lurking in the shadows watching Nell Masters? And why do they want to kill her? Nell can feel when theyโre watching her. And it scares her. She feels eyes on her when she goes to work and when she leaves work to go home. And those silent phone calls to her office. Is the one watching her behind them?
Nell does have a lot of problems along with a lot of possibilities of who could want to kill her. Is it the son of the man she had accused of giving a girl a lift who that same evening wound up killed? Nell is sure that man, now dead, was guilty. But how could his son have found her? She is no longer Elle Nugent and she has moved.
Could it be her boyfriend? She really hates to think so, but his previous two girlfriends were killed. Is she going to be the third?
But those are only possibilities. It could be anyone she knows, and she has to know this person. She begins looking at everyone with suspicion. Only after her friend is killed by mistake instead of her does she become determined to put a stop to it.
All the truth comes out in the end. Nell is trapped in her own house with the killer, and this person is determined to kill Nell. Was I surprised at their identity? Definitely. The author did a great job of keeping me in suspense.
The chapters where the killer speaks adds a lot of suspense to the story, especially since the killer talks about Nellโs actions and how none of them will keep her safe. This is.a book that I really, really enjoyed right up until the end.
